I was able to broker amongst others the acquisitions of drawings by Salvator Rosa, Henri Fuseli (Johann Heinrich Füssli), Richard Cosway, Eugène Delacroix, Édouard Vuillard, Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, Alfred Kubin, Henri Gaudier-Brzeska and Joseph Beuys, of paintings by Jean Fautrier and Robert Rauschenberg, sculptures by André Masson and Henry Moore, paintings by Flemish artists around 1500, a Spanish sculpture from the 12th century and of medieval German sculptures, of an Oceanic Imunu figure, of an African Bete mask, of pre-Columbian art including Vera Cruz masks and figures, Jama-Coaque and Tumaco-La Tolita figures, a Maya vessel, an important Xochipala seated figure and a major Teotihuacan stone mask, an important central Indian Chamunda stone sculpture from the 11th/12th century, most recently a rare Japanese 18th century Kojô Noh mask plus numerous 19th century photographs aside from more 20th/21st century paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and photographs. To that effect I traveled extensively to review auction material in London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin and Cologne and to sight works in galleries and private collections stretching all the way from Madrid to Bruges, Antwerp to Paris, with London my home base.
